Expensive Internet Access fees. Low grade beddings. Hidden bathrooms are an inconvenience. No air conditioning in the rooms.
Excellent buffet breakfast daily included in very affordable rates.
I was booked into room 516 for 4 nights. In the evenings , once the traffic flow had subsided and the area became quieter , I became aware of a very intrusive and regular high-pitched beeping sound and upon checking found that this emanated from the traffic lights at the intersection below the room. The pedestrian signal on the traffic lights is linked to a beeping signal and emits a beep every second for 14 seconds on green. The beeping continues 24/7 during the night as well and is irritating in the extreme and I eventually resorted to the use of ear plugs to shut out the beeping noise. Whilst I realise that this is beyond the Hotel 's control I feel that this is a discomfort to the guests in this wing of the hotel and could be discussed with the city's traffic authorities and that the beeping signal could be disengaged after a certain time at night. This spoilt an otherwise pleasant stay at your establishment.
Very helpful and friendly staff. City location good for exploring. Room was tidy and clean without being luxurious. Nice food - good value for money.
Not situated in the prettiest of area's (road works going on in area) but the convience and great staff attitude easily made up for this.
Reasonable location in downtown, not too far from the waterfront (25 minute walk)
A little dated, price was very high for what it was, although I was staying there during the World Cup so expected a premium. The price was the same as a much more luxurious room at the same time at the V&A Hotel on the Waterfront. It may well provide better value for money during a normal period
The reception at the door and the guidance to car park, other information relevant to our short stay of 3 nights.
I wish I found something to compalin!
I enjoyed the stay at the hotel because it was close to work. It was comfortable and the staff were friendly and pleasant.
Location is in walking distance to both CTICC and down town.
Reservation was for a superior room with a view, but actual room had no view.
we loved the fountains apartments the hotel was great the staff were lovely the apartment was spacious and very comfortable ! loved capetown loved the fountains would love to go back sometime !!
Close to everything.
On check in we were told to pay, when all had been paid in advance as a birthday present. The rooms were very small. The breakfast was very average. The was a brawl with one of our guests in the foyer as we arrived back from dinner
Our booking through you was for 1 x two bedroom apartment and 1 x one bedroom apartment. We ended up with three one bedroom apartments one of which was appalling. The staff were brilliant and did all they could to save the day.
Room 910B is a dreadful space.
Its nice, cosy and comfortable hotel, good for business travellers who have meetings in and around cbd. The staff was very polite and helpful.
A bit not satisfied with gate keepers and porters, it seems either they were too busy and a bit confused due to heavy rush of incoming guests for some sports team.
The Rooms were very neat and clean. The staff was very helpful and the breakfasts good.
The cost of drinks is absorbent for South Africans. The rooms need a face lift with new furniture.
Friendly staff, comfortable room, good breakfast and very convenient for touring and site seeing around Cape Town.
